Third Annual Community Concert a Great Success

The Third Annual Community Concert "was easily the best church sponsored concert I've ever seen," said one audience member. The standing ovation at the end also indicated the feelings of the rest of the audience. The Valley Four's renditions of "Heartbreak Hotel," "Plovi Barko," and "God Bless the U.S.A." in particular delighted those attending. And singing "Lida Rose" and "Johnny Has Gone for a Soldier" with gust soprano Christina Salasny also received enthusiastic applause as did Christina's renditions of "My Heart Will Go On" and "How Could I Ever Know."
Also dazzling the audience were performances by Aric Phinney on the piano, Jewel Griffith on the organ and the woodwind ensemble of Laurie Holdridge, Nancy Falconer, Christine Cumming and Susan Zanovitch.
